You know, I'm starting to want to kill this thread again. Every few weeks (or months, depending on activity level), it always seems to warp itself into a secondary version of the Friendly Thread.
While I STILL question the merits of this thread's existence and purpose, I still let it live as long as people know the distinction between it and the Friendly thread. Direct replies are find as long as they don't snowball into full on discussions here. The majority of posts here should just be snippets of events in your daily lives.

Today, I have a stomach ache. Everything else is pretty much the way it is normally.

I slept an extra 2 hours this morning, that's 6 eps gone >_< I can't believe I let myself get lazy as soon as my mom finally stepped out! And of course she left me with work to do before she gets back. Between that and my 40 ep goal I barely have time to eat TwT

And 13-17 AUG I'm gone elsewhere to sit at lakes swim chat drink talk and do whatever I like :3
I spent all the money on my uni card that I wasn't going to need and bought a HUGE HUGE lunch for me and my colleague. So stuffed it wasn't even healthy anymore xD
Felt so good to spend so much on a lunch for once :3 Sinfully good.
Tomorrow graduation day. I wouldn't even go if it wasn't for the free food and drink after tbh. They can just mail it anyway xD. I'll be celebrating when I can go to Japan or finish my Masters. Much more interested in that one since this just feels like " a step" for me instead of a milestone. people think im crazy for it :/

Let's just say I'm going to enjoy disposing of my list when this is over. Hmmm... should I burn it or shred it? Anyway I still enjoy anime as much as I always have but lately I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed. If it was just watching 40 or so eps each day I would be fine but now my studies are getting in the way and well... I'm losing my edge. Can you believe I actually slept 8 hours last night!? If only I had passed those stupid tests I wouldn't have to put up with this! >_< As for what happened with your book, I would never allow that. The only thing I ever skip when watching anime are the openings and endings and even that is hard for me to do.Mnessie said:

Not many people can do, or even should do, what you're doing Ecchi (the first part is not a compliment btw). I understand you want to do that and why, and at times I even want to do that, but it just isn't possible unless you practically quit life and live only for that one thing. Even on vacation from my work I don't watch anime all the time, as I either play games, read manga, visit friends, I pretty much balance it out. Now if you saw the backlog I have you'd want to do what you're doing now, but sometimes I'm not in that mood.
Btw, I suggest you just watch the OP and ED once unless it's an awesome opening (and don't just say they are all awesome) and just needs to be seen again and again.

Hey now, it's not like I'm planning to live the rest of my life like this. If all goes well I should be done in a few months and after that I'll slow my pace. As for taking a break... I don't know. Once I'm close to my goal I might take a day off or slow down a bit but right know taking a break is out of the question.

In my opinion, a holiday is just a day marked on a calendar. Time knows not of holidays nor days of the week. Holidays and Wednesdays are really just products of man when you get down to it.

I would say that my "day" was generally better knowing it wasn't a monday. Obviously something I created myself as well. But that doesn't mean it won't have any effect.
I bet you feel the same way about birthdays and planned celebrations as "not really a special day" huh. (I would wager that "how was your day" as thread can find it tolerable to ask about special days?)

the 4th of july (independence day) is the day when the charter to declare independence (the declaration of independence) from our mother, the kingdom of great britian, was signed; it's more or less founder's day for the US.
and i was patriotic enough to watch a bunch of people shoot off fireworks behind our house while sitting in my car eating phish food and listening to Ringo no E no Ue no Rakugaki.

That's why Assassins Creed 3 named their trailer to 4th of July... I see it was US independence day. You learn something new everyday. Well not so suprsising since I never studied US history or even intrested in those special days countries have.

Started watching Bodacious Space Pirates and I got to say I'm really enjoying it. At first the premise of legalized piracy seemed unrealistic to me, but then I remembered watching some pirate documentary and I did some research. I guess truth is stranger than fiction. (^_^)'

Hmm, my day just started over here. So it's too soon to make any judgment calls. Though I love the weather already... it's all cool breezes and cloudly skies. Not to mention the weather forecasts predicts no rain, so it looks like it's gonna be my kind of weather!

I've been trying to get my license now for quite some time..
But I can't seem to pass the Theory exam. I failed it, yes prepare, 5 times. With today being the 5th. 3 times with 1 mistake too much, it's so sour. Everything seems to go wrong these days. Depressing, sigh. I need a cool new game, now!

Heh it took far to long for me to get the license. Failed the theory exam 2 times but managed on my third, as they say "Third time's the charm" ~.^
I also failed one time on the practical exam because I did two mistakes. One was I forgot to look on my left blind spot and the other one I drove a little to fast in the city area >.<
Here is a tip Arty. Take as many practice exams with a time limit as you can. Especially with one that provides you the correct answer if you answer wrong and with a explaination why. However make sure to take a legit practice exam and try avoid the free ones, they are garbage imho.

I don't either. I initially took too much off the URL and wound up at his main Twitter page. I had to re-navigate my way back to the URL he intended from there. Still, URL guessing isn't that hard.

11 months agoHmm, my day is still going good since my last post on this thread. The only thing that changed was that I had lunch :D
My lunch was rather delicious, actually. Some strange triangles made of cheese and tomato accompanied by legumes and pasta. It was yum-yum.
Unlike the main day's menu which was fried steak with french fries (and ketchup to taste). EW. I feel disgusted just looking at such unhealthy food x_x' but my stuff was awesome. I was mildly surprised by the taste.
