I could not disagree more....
more.... Consider #metoo - for example, Trump's Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch, (whether you like him or not) false allegations were made that were later recanted. In short, many "at risk" employers are going to avoid woman (and other "protected" individuals) simply to protect themselves from such extortion. This movement has in fact cut off paths of opportunity rather than open them.
Do you think that all the vitriol being directed at white males by various "marginalized groups" is making the world a nicer place or promoting acceptance?
Look at the transgender movement which has been in the news a lot recently, especially regarding transgender men competing in woman's sporting events. It is a scientific fact that men are 15-20% stronger then woman because of Testosterone which not only builds muscle mass, it also increases motor neuron size and hence the ability to activate muscles more completely. It is simply NOT right and should not be allowed. But there is near hysteria and condemnation of any woman sportsman who challenges transgenders participating in woman's sporting events.
Further the PC movement does not help promote respect. Any group that receives special treatment is automatically discounted, that some person got to the position they hold, not by their own merit but by special favor - you are only equal opportunity points.....
The PC movement has done tremendous harm to freedom of expression, freedom of choice and freedom of association, more so than what it has replaced.
