nice underground station. don't mind living underground now.
Well, at least in an underground environment, you could easily catch girls because they couldn't run too far...

Is the girl in the foreground holding a cigarette or a pocket flare? That's one bright smoke if that's what it is.
would anyone be willing to trans the chalkboard? i'm curious to see what it says.
Forget the cigarette, I'm curious to know what purpose the one using surveying instruments is doing? If she is doing property lines, then she has her work cut out for her as the tight quarters she has to deal with would surly be a taxing one imho. :)
i can't read some of the chalkboard but it looks like a food menu for the week
Yes, it's a weekly menu of some sort. Daily specials, perhaps?

If humanity ever sets up civilizations on Mars it will probably be something like this since the weather on the surface is too extreme.

Unless we can terraform the planet, maybe even change the orbit to a more suitably one. (WAY in the future if ever possible)
Or perhaps this is still Earth and the surface is a barren wasteland filled with bandits, thieves, and raiders in a post apocalyptic society. Sounds like my kind of fun.
Or maybe it is a long term underground project that is going so long they have to raise there kids and have communities down there.
It reminds me of one of the many areas you visit in Metro 2033, 'cept with Japanese school girls.
