Like...this looks better, but there's that tiny matter of using waifu2x on an image that technically met our size requirements.
I'd rather keep the parent post, and delete this one.
This is a rather unusual rendition of Misaka. A grown-up version definitely and it looks like she wouldn't fit into her middle-school uniform anymore.

I had a feeling that would raise problems the moment I uploaded.
Can someone update the wiki if that is the policy because its not in the waifu2x section.

Surely, we shouldn't be keeping images which are aliased to heck and back. The aliasing tag is overused.

Given the way that Waifu2x works, even if it isn't upscaled, the noise reduction is essentially a complete redraw of the original. Downscaling is almost always better than upscaling, so images should be ideally as large as possible.

Let's not get overly picky. The rule is to prevent a flood of waifu2x upscales of existing images. Since the original image does not meet our quality guidelines - it has an overall general blur to it, which for such a small image, I would consider unacceptable; I do not see any issue uploading a waifu2x cleaned up version as people will prefer the larger version.

I'm not arguing at this point, but have you seen some of the stuff on here? Saying the original didn't meet quality standards is silly.

Still, this version does look better.
