Hey, look at this glamour copyright! Yeah, you can become famous even if you blend two layers in Photoshop.
Sorry for my lack of understanding, but:
1. I can't understand the meaning of this pic.
2. And if I can understand the meaning it's and obvious hate to Win 7, right? -_-
It could also be a prank wallpaper: imagine the reactions you get if this was on a work or school computer and people just pass by taking a quick glance at first.
To hate Win7 you'd have to loathe Vista.

It's a broken window.

A broken monitor wouldn't work as a trick, unless they were an idiot. CRT cease to work if the vacuum is lost, LCD & plasma have no glass.

That actually depends on the manufacturer and the make/model of monitor. Most monitors have a matte, anti-glare/-reflection finish, that's true. However, some of the recent multimedia monitors come with a glossy screen, which tends to be glass (for better color/brightness, as the matte finish dulls it a bit.)

My Dell monitor right now (S2210T) has a glass surface (though it's also a touchscreen.)
Well in those cases it's a lightweight construction, it wouldn't be thick enough or have the right crystal structure.
Randomly encountered this pic..... Now,i remember someone(Tensa, probably) telling me not to kill catgirls..... Well right here,it's just a massacre of catgirls. Well,WHATEVER a model/manufacturer would be, havin' THIS big hole in it,the monitor will NOT work....
broken printed glass more like, doesn't look like a broken screen at all (CRT would no longer work, LCD would have bleed, etc.).

Most people don't know LCD construction and how damge would affect the image unless they're geeks like some of us or have seen it for themselves.

I think that quote had more to do with involving real-world physics and such IN the anime itself (or in direct relation). We're debating the inspiration/reasonong for the creation of this image.
a black cat and a broken mirror basically means windows isn't lucky...
The above comment was when I had a MAC now I'm using windows 7... How Ironic is THAT!
And my new P.C. has broken on me twice and i have had to replace the hard drive several times... It really IS unlucky...
