I do hope you know rule 63 has been overwritten and is no longer used. Due to the fact that there are now characters out here that people just don't want genderbend.barterio said:

Well, Samus it think originally had an anime style char design. Her popularity in the west (NA and EU) I think is what made designs like this post a bit more common (especially as a female lead.)
As for the new game...Seeing as the Metroid series is a Nintendo-owned franchise, that requires me owning a Nintendo console...Of which currently I only have access to my GBA; so no. (I have a GC in storage some place.)
The big N rarely has games for it I really want to play...Last game for a Nintendo console I wanted to play was Tales of Symphonia. (It's the sole reason I even bothered getting a GC...)

how do you explain the "Bioshock" or the "Halo 2" images? Yes, "2K GAMES" has a Japanese branch but they were never involved in either "Bioshock" games. And Microsoft's Japanese branch didn't even touch halo let-a-lone look at it! The only thing that Japan did (NOT "Microsoft Japan", famous Japanese anime studios) that was halo related was the halo anime series "Halo LEGENDS".
TL;DR. Part rant. Please take further topic discussion to the forums. We can debate authorized content material ad infinitum there without getting in the way of others enjoyment of the site and comments.

Sorry to bump, but actually, there is a manga of Metroid, just look it up on Google. I've heard that there is even a sequel to the series. The manga is actually a very good read (in my opinion).
