Cades caustic comments are one thing, I accept that, but threatening to murder me is another matter entirely. This has gone to far.
Unless I receive an apology or retraction of his threat to murder me I will refer him to the FBI, This is a serious criminal matter.
Criticism, is fine, but threat to kill is another, and now I'm scared, for my family and me!
Surely this is not what Konachan is all about!
And if Cade wan'ts to intelligently answer my comments about Trump he is welcome, just do it civilly and more succinctly without the bloody death threats.

Give Trump a break
The stats have the final say Trump = IdiotAt the moment, the the most searched for term in the United States, according to Google Trends is "IDIOT". And people have looked it up online well over a millions of times since lawmakers at a congressional hearing this week demanded to know why typing “idiot” into Google’s image search would throw up a gallery of billions of pictures of US President Donald Trump
Don't even try to bring Konachan into the matter, like some political BS.
eclimial, if you are going to make hot headed comments on internet forums, you will receive hot headed replies - QED.
There are now several high profile elected politicians that have called Trump a motherf**ker, the latest being Canada's first female PM - This is completely unstatesmanlike and serves no purpose but to incite hatred.
It seems that the whole political debate (Not just the debate about Trump) has not only been flushed down the toilet but has already reached the sewer mains and your rants are right down there with the worst of them. Regardless how how much you dislike an elected politician, you should keep your forum comments factual, professional and not let your emotions color them yellow, if you don't want to get responses such as Cade's.
Edit: I second Tensa's reply - don't bring Konachan into your politics, especially since you authored this controversy forum.

My comments where not hot headed, and they did not include murderous death threats they were simply an invitation to free and open discussionKiho said:

I am a retired teacher and I allays encouraged my students to lively debate, but never resort to threats of violence, which is why objected to Cades remark to murder me.
I'm no way trying trying politicize Konahcan, heaven forbid, I'm here for the art, the forum is a side attraction, but as the old saying goes, if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen, and at my stage in life, If I can't have a civil discussion without death threats, then lock the fucking thread and be done with it.
I will not be sad to see it go, I created Controversial Corner and just expected more from intelligent members. I have lot's more to give here on Konachan, like Quote Of The Day and the Music thread but this Controversy thread was a mistake, I apologize.
Wow, never been compared with a sewer rat before, to say I'm insulted is an understatement, thanks Kiho you just killed my day, you wanna murder me too? Stand in line, Cade has the first shot.It seems that the whole political debate (Not just the debate about Trump) has not only been flushed down the toilet but has already reached the sewer mains and your rants are right down there with the worst of them.
Disclaimer: I would kill Trump just as readily.

Out of all the various retards we've had on this site you are by far the saddest and most pathetic.
LOL Well, maybe not shot, but impeachment and a life time in prison and take way his ridiculous toupee that would work for me, and let his inmates bugger him like he is buggering the WestCade said:

But first don't call me son, I'm probably older than your father.
And second I'm neither sad or pathetic ... but I'm a damn site wiser than you, little boy!
And that's exactly why you're so sad.eclimial said:

Cade saying he's gonna murder you is more or less like someone else saying "Eat a dick". He's just a lot spicier than all of us so his language is more intense.
He probably could (definitely could) and would kill someone under the right circumstances, but I imagine he enjoys what freedom he has too much to risk going to prison over something silly like this.
Plus, like Kiho said, he's impossibly far away from you. So you don't actually need to be afraid.

If there was a really, really kickass pair of shoes/boots that you liked and wanted to own, but they had tiny Swastikas on the treads, would you still buy them?
Too much political correctness in this world. This would not be the first run in with the PC police over shoe treads.otaku_emmy said:

If I really liked the boots and was concerned about the PC police chasing me down, I would sand/scuff off the tiny offending patterns from the soles.
NO!! NO!! NO!!otaku_emmy said:

The swastika was originally a peaceful symbol of ancient Mesopotamian, and later Indian religion, but it was corrupted and stolen by arguably the most evil man in modern history, Hitler, and used for his Nazi, disgusting, National Socialist ideals.
Even in Germany the swastika, as an item of clothing, is now banned.
So no, out of respect for the millions of lives lost in WW2 I would never wear any item of clothing featuring a swastika (Including shoes)
However I get off easy this time as I rarely wear shoes, in my home I am always barefoot and when going to the shops or walking to the beach I wear flip flops ... and definitely NOT featuring the swastika!.
I ask because there's a fellow I'm quite fond of (an internet personality who I don't know personally) who has a tendency to wear very nice boots, and on a forum someone created to find out what brand/kind of boots they are a user found a picture of the same pair and pointed out that they have Swastikas on the bottom. The man still wears the shoes to this day, even having acknowledged in that very forum that they were indeed Swastikas (his response was a cheeky "hee hee").
If no one can see the bottom of your shoes clearly, and since the shoes are too nice and heavy to wear in the mud or sand (so no one will notice the imprints the shoes are meant to leave), I don't see any issues.

Imprinting religious symbols on the ground with shoe soles is considered to be "sacrilegious" but imprinting Swastikas on the ground is promoting fascism? Think about it that way. Western culture is eating itself alive with its excessive Political Correctness. We have entered the reality of "Brave New World"
To certain extent I agree, but political correctness is, slowly, making our world a nicer place and promotes acceptance. We no longer say things like nigger, slut or wog and we don't tolerate Swastikas. We are over it.Kiho said:

If you wan't to leave an imprint on the ground, why not a cute anime girl, a love heart or even Popeye The Sailor Man? who famously said "I am what I am and that's all that I am"
It just mystifies me that anyone would want to associate themselves with such a hideous symbol as the Swastika.
I wish to salute Huxley's Brave New World, but in a positive light, it was a warning, and I do not desire to re-live the political un-correctness of our past.
I'm all for free speech, but i'ts my right to object, especially if it is offensive and causes derision, that's where I draw the line. Only racist right wing fascists wear swastikas and fly confederate flags. The age of racism and sexism is dying. Thank goodness!
4 way radial symmetry is a functional feature. Why give a shit if some group uses it for bad things?
I could not disagree more....eclimial said:

The PC movement has done tremendous harm to freedom of expression, freedom of choice and freedom of association, more so than what it has replaced.
It does make one wonder why he wears them, knowing there are Swastikas on them.eclimial said:

They're hella nice boots though.
...law is not taught to kids so offense happens.
question is when do one stop being a child?
if murdering and cheating is considered adult...maybe being a child is everyone, and anyone is not mature enough to truly realize consequences nor have empathy

The US on the verge of invading Venezuela.
This Article by Investigative Reporter John Pilger about Venezuela tells a very different story then Trump/Bolton's narrative. How is Venezuela being reported in your local news?

Haven't seen much of it. It's all party/identity politics.Kiho said:

It's pretty unbiased. They're basically writing as observers.
The only biased thing that goes on on that site is internal politics. With good reason.
Here's something that apparently talks about the Romanian revolution being similar to the Venezuela situation. I wonder. At least, Maduro is being compared to our once and glorious lead-- err, I mean, that horrible man.
Really, some part of our society also incorporate a version of pravda.

My contreverisal opinion is that politics effects no one unless youre a criminal, or in a corrupt contry (an actual corrupt contry). Leave the politics to the old people on PBS. Like why are people caring about it now? Back in 2000-2009 no one cared except old people, nowadays even babies have political opinions.
Because there are very special snowflakes everywhere today. Snowflakes with insecurity issues. We usually call those people "bullies". But that term shifted to "victims", it seems. Political parties create propaganda on 'humanitarian' ideals that these snowflakes will aspire to (gay, PETA, feminism, genderism, etc). They're all just dirt beneath the boot.
Just remember, most political bullshit happens in the US. The EU is dealing with its own shit, but it was never as opinionated as the shit called 'US politics'.

Most people don't like PETA, just FYI. And even the ASPCA (the group infamous for those sad commercials) funds environmental terrorists.
I do believe in rights for gays. Stuff like marriage and jobs or adoption. Just because some people don't like gays doesn't mean they shouldn't have equal rights. And trans people should be allowed to use the bathroom they feel most comfortable in.
Most people also know that "feminism" isn't...hittin' on much either, as we'd say here in NC. People can see that it isn't about true equality at all. Sensible people. Even though a lot of people won't openly admit it.

I still think politics effects no one. The only time politics "effected" me is when the schools changed the vending machines replaced thier food. Unfortunately my liberal as hell parents didnt and wont get the memo.
.........I think that by your very existence politics effects you. It seems like a passive force at this point.
Saying politics is the reason i exist is like saying that Dinsey is the reason Elsagate existed. Politics is only 1% of the reason i exist.
