Great camouflage! ..If you are in a world that is called MineCraft :P

The gun is great textured though! ;)
What do you mean? Are you talking about the pixelated camo? If you are, that's to make a person/object harder to see by computer.

... it IS great camouflage, it's kind of the BEST camouflage for this age
Digital camouflage is actually very common, though normally consists of many layers of much smaller pixels in different shades.
the camouflage pattern is called campat, invented by the Canadian army and is the best camo anyone has presently it blurs against anything of similar colors making it harder for people and computers to see you when it has the correct layers and shadings. now that this has been confirmed by an army brat lets get back on topic shall we?

Since the camo is a part of the picture, we still are on-topic.

Anyway, I like the odd pant-legs/kneesocks, never seen that before.
If it was really off-topic, I would've said something.

As former military, Digi-Cam patterns have been around in the US military for a while. I recall seeing samples of them as far back as 2002.

My issue with this image is the fact her bottom half is in Digi, upper is standard, and exposed skin has no paint.

Well, I shouldn't expect much. Most JPN artists have no military background nor do most of them research it. Plus it's just an image from an eroge anyway. Though I don't particularly like her significant "assets". Top heavy-ish and they look unsupported. That shirt looks to be pulling double-duty.
Digital camouflage was developed, in part with eye surgeons. It was discovered that the human eye sees in micro-pixels, no differently than a CCD camera (the retina receives light as a grid(that's why you can be partially blind in one eye) . The pixelated configuration fools the eye (and mind) into overlooking the object. The exception is when some fool wears something black with it. Black stands out, as there are no things on earth that are black naturally; only Dark-Earth in color. Trust me on this.

Pure Carbon (except diamond).
Black doesn't stand out at night in unlit areas.
When camouflage fails, turn to distraction!

You wouldn't need camouflage at night would you? Your thermal footprint is the issue there. PS: it stands out MORE when viewed with night vision.

Carbon is NOT black (even though sites or people like Wikipedia describe it as such, for lack of a long explanation). It's light wave-length (or lack thereof) is close but not fully. Plus, carbon does not occur naturally on earth as a bi-product of planet evolution (like it's life forms/plants, etc., meaning it was introduced from outer space and perpetuates itself through our Eco-systems life-cycles); it's a bi-product of the elements that created earth from space debris; but that's semantics anyway.

And when distraction fails...It's best not to be there any longer, thus the concept of run&and gun!
And if that fails, turn to sex appeal!
Well, you guys have the camo issue under control. I can't seem to place what weapon she has. I wanna say either the Galil or the Stoner 63, and I'm leaning more towards the Galil.

Good eye; I'd say an unholy mixture of a Galil and a Sig 556. Galil upper and Sig lower...And a HK G3 stock. I own one of each of these weapons and just placed them next to each other; wala! Anime-girl gun!
The gun is a Type 89 assault rifle, as used by the Japanese Military.

Bingo! Spot-on! I thought I'd seen it before, but it's been years. You get the anime killer-girl award.
