On source I can see vocaloid tag, but... She looks kinda like Shinobu from Monogatari....
Kinda like? That IS Shinobu in whatever way you're looking.
Then tags on the source lie, I guess :D
It's correctly tagged on pixiv now. I don't know what the tags looked like before, but always remember to check for a * next to each tag denoting the tag was added by the artist. There are trash taggers on pixiv.
NEVER keep those things upside. Always keep them downside. Well, at the start of it as in the picture I suppose there is no danger. However, if it goes bellow half, then change their position to downside.
I burned the entire area between thumb and index finger when I was 7-8 years old by keeping it upside. Lucky me that the burn marks healed.

That is interesting, where I am from you're not allowed to hold them upside down because of the same claims the other way around. Holding them upside down seems safer though.
I notice that in "Japanese festival" themed art, they mostly hold them upside-down. However, I always hold my sparklers right-side-up (here in the states).
I just point them away from things...

In my experience, they aren't useful for lighting fires, so....
