According to the artist's commentary, the banner (it's unclear which one) on the left side says something along the lines of "We defend aerospace borders of Moscow, the hero-city. Let us be worthy of such a high honor". Kept translation_request tag since there's still the second banner and some text on boxes on the other side of the image.
So why are they on a trip to Russia?
Artist's input on that matter: "Their thirst for adventures led them there, I suppose. '(^__^)>"
The artist is Russian, so I figure (insert gender pronoun here) just wanted to draw something Russian.

Мы стоим на страже воздушно-космических рубежей ссср Города-гелроя Москвы будем достойны той высокой чести .
(We stand guard on the aerospace frontiers of the USSR hero-city Moscow. Let us be worthy of such high honor.)
There is not enough text visible on the left banner to read it all but I could read three words.
требуют (require) тическую (political) деляющей (determine)
Maybe a political slogan of some sort.
The boxes on the right:
Обережно! Не бросать! (Careful! Do not throw!)
Other markings on the boxes are just inventory numbers like РК-2 (RK-2)
