Posting it here since comments made on deleted post don't show up.Note to self: Waifu2x image before upload to avoid artifacts.
You just could check the image before uploading though.
I will assuming I actually seem them. Some of the artifacts seem so tiny and inconsequential. Just seem so awkward hearing this bit of advice from you.BattlequeenYume said:

If you doesn't check them and uploading them anyways, the chance for deletion is just higher. If you are to lazy to do it, you shouldn't complain about it.
Our standarts are higher than on other image boards. And I check most of them before uploading or at least, replace them.

So I'll now start running images through waifu2x/photoshop before uploading, regardless of the images overall quality to check on any artifacts that I could potentially miss at first glance. Or just avoid JPG image since they have the higher chance of having artifacts.
Within like a time frame of one-two minutes after the image was posted on Pixiv/Yandere? That's crazy efficient to be honest, especially since I rarely see you need to replace an image you uploaded before. I kinda expected more time to further analyse the image. And I check most of them before uploading or at least, replace them.
Please don't do that. We were never meant to use waifu2x as a quality crutch. That was actually part of the initial argument AGAINST allowing us to use it at all.Fepple said:

Yes, or like I said, I just replace them when I don't like the original quality. Bc we are really picky about aliasing, artifacts, errors and stuff.
