Call me an idiot, but doesn't this make there seem like there are two Base Swords? Seeing as he has one in one hand, and the assembled Blade in the other. It just struck me as odd...

The one in his left hand is the base of the Buster Sword. The right is just another attachment.

I agree with you. It does look like the completely assembled sword in one hand and the base sword in the other.

Cloud's motorcycle is awesome.
His advent children outfit however is stupid and would look much better if symmetric.
